The Inter-University 2012 Finals will take flight today at the University of Peradeniya rugby ground at 4.30 pm. The match to be held between University of Peradeniya and University of Moratuwa will be an equal battle as both teams have displayed extraordinary skill in the game. The two titans of university rugby met last year for the final as well where Peradeniya had a close shave against Moratuwa 12-7. This year Moratuwa University will look for vengeance with a team dedicated to the sport.

University of Peradeniya remains untouched thus far as they moved on through the quarter finals and the semi finals without being scored against. University of Moratuwa had a superb start in the quarters against Sabaragamuwa but had to settle for a 10-9 win against University of Colombo in the semi final. With a lot at stake both teams will look to make their mark today and it will be a match not to be missed.

The match for the second runner up position will be held at 3.00 pm between University of Colombo and University of Rajarata.
